I did belong to this forum awhile back, but recently re-joined. I have a 1950 Plymouth Suburban wagon. It has a 4 inch chopped top and new chassis. I have a Heidts independent rear and a Fatman MS2 front stub with 4 wheel coilovers. Also have Wilwood 4 wheel discs with the rear being inboard like an old Jag. The hood is louvered with 90 louvers ,frenched headlights, and custom rear roll pan. For go it has a small block 360 Mopar w/727 automatic. A custom exhaust that is ceramic coated. The interior has twin buckets up front with a custom rear seat . It is now in primer and I hope to paint it by next spring. It will be 2 tone with the top being twilight turquoise metallic and the bottom oyster white. I will be getting some pictures hopefully this weekend and put them in.
Welcome to the Wagon Forum chop. When you get the chance, start a thread in our "Projects" section and post some pictures of that "Bad Boy". We love pics!
What he said chopt! I grew up with neighbors having early Plymouth wagons and my first car was a 49 Dodge. Lookin forward to your photos and build.
Here's some pics I took in my shop. The wheels are new......got them at York .They are the new black chrome.
I wonder why cars that I wouldn't even take a 2nd look at when I was a youngster, look so good today?
Welcome aboard! That is one cool looking ride. A friend of mine had a '51 Plymouth, same body style years ago. I had an opportunity to buy it. Yours obviously has a good amount of work into it....love the chop, frenched headlights, louvers, etc. Thanks for posting the pics.
