I picked up a NOS rear air deflector for the luggage rack on my '72 Squire. One problem, though; it doesn't have the side "corner wings" nor a third piece to mount onto my luggage rack (not even sure exactly what this piece looks like). I knew this when I bought the item. Does anyone have a good source to find those pieces to properly mount this on my luggage rack (perhaps a wrecking yard?)? The part number on the box is C9AZ-71508220A.

P.S. Are you supposed to be able to tell what the part number is by looking at the part on Ford parts like this? I see what appear to be casting numbers on it, but no part numbers.

tig....body shops have books for every single body & trim part for any car. Go there and check out what you need before you possibly waste your money. Krash Kadillac here has books too if you want to PM him. The books are also available on eBay at times but are usually pricey but a lot less than new books. ALSO available on eBay are individual photo copy SHEETS (from the books) for the areas of a car that you may want. I have purchased some of these and was happy because I got the part numbers from the line drawing pix of the part I wanted.

Thanks Fox. Your post prompted me to search for those manuals knowing that I wouldn't want to spend a ton of money on them. I did find a 1965-1972 Ford Master Parts Catalog on CD-Rom that I just ordered for less than $30. Sure beats the $500 for a print version of the original manual on eBay!

This is what I bought. Thanks again for leading me in the right direction on this.

I am not familiar with that particular seller or item. I hope it contains all you need, tig. Looks like it has a lot. Hope it has all the body parts for all the models. If it does it's a great deal.(y)

tig, I'm going out to this yard on Saturday for a couple parts, so I'll check this Mercury (1969). C9 in the P/N is 1969.;)
