Hello all

A guy told me about this place annd Ive fianlly gotten around to signing up and checking it out!

Its not a very good picture, but Ive posted a picture of my car as my avatar, a 1986 AMC Eagle wagon... Its not in as good a shape as Id like, but im working on that

 

to the wagon train, solo. I like those 'ol Eagles.

I work at a gas station, and one must drive in order to get to work, and no way would I keep my car out of my sight, so I park off to the side, but where I can see it... which means off to the side in front of the store

You wouldn't BELIVE how many people have tried to get me to sell the thing right then, right there, nor how many people will walk in, and ask who's car that is, and then reminisce like crazy about people they knew who owned one, or how much they they loved theirs, or how that was one of the cars they always wanted, but couldn't find ETC Then you have people who ask me if its a dodge, or ask me if its some conversion
The amusment never stops

The most flabbergasting was the day a person in a BRAND NEW Mercedes SUV sat outside WAITING for "whomever" owned to car, just to ask if they would sell it, they had waited for about 10-15 min, and I just had happened to go out to check the trash and whatnot, only to have the guy wave me over and ask who's it was!

 

Yah sure... we know the real reason is so you can look at it because it's cool...

Desolo. Where in Wilmington do they let employees out from behind the counter? Just kidding Pal but it sure wasn't anywhere near Monkey Junction

 

Actually, im not far from Monkey junction, Im off shipyard But l the same, I know what you mean.... things will start calming down here now that summer's over.... until next year lol

 

So what did he offer you? C'mon! Everything is for sale if the price is right!

 

LOL Id never sell it, my father gave it to me, and I love the car to much to sell it anyway

 

But weren't you just the least bit curious, even if you knew you were not going to sell it?

 

Hey, why worry about it If I do not intend to sell it?
Besides, I know its not worth a ton anyway, and its value to me is far more then what Id ever expect to get for it if i sold it

 

Just for curiosity's sake! It would kill me not to know what they thought it was worth.
