    Definitely one of my all time favorites!:thumbs2: Big project and the price is way up there, though.
    And....I prefer the hardtop model.....

    I never understood the reason that Chrysler came out with both the Matador and Polara?? Same basic car with the Polara being the higher end model but with just a few trim upgrades. The engine was a 383 in the Polara and a 361 in the Matador. Matador had a 2 speed auto, the Polara a 3 speed. So....why not just have one model with different trim levels? Well...now that I think about it....it was a marketing ploy to get you to spend more for the Polara. Show everyone you had the "high end" model.

    I have a 64 9 pass, a,c , p,s ,auto hardtop 880 for $3500.00 not a cream puff but not a pos either, Org black plate car on non op , runs stops but needs everthing looked at before going back on the road. 63 is a parts car, white 64 is my keeper and the gold 64 is for sale . I have a good grill and rt rocker mld to go with it.:tiphat:

    I do like that wagon style, Dan....but I'm really partial to the 60 Polara with those cool fins and round tail lights sticking out the back.
