?? Hyper dipstick organic window tint?:biglaugh: Seriously, I am courious as to what this is? I really do need to tint my windows, not so much for the looks, but because of my furry budies. Have to make sure they stay cool.

Even with the door panel off, I love the front seats AND the colour....yu have to bring it by one day and try to let me know, I'll take the 83.

Well, I went and bought more tint today to continue with the project. I bought it this time from a local tint shop. I also got a price on the ceramic tint - WOW- flippin' expensive! You can't buy the tint to install yourself. They have to install it for you and the cost (with me bringing the glass to them) was $150 PER WINDOW! I just couldn't justify it as a tint job for the entire car in this stuff would cost more than the car:rofl2:
It has lots of benefits though
    1) Doesn't interfere with radio, GPS, cell signal
    2) Blocks MORE UV transmission to cut down more heat
    3) Isn't as dark as metallic tint with the same UV rating
    4) Night visibility is much better

Oh well, I cheaped out. I'll get a couple of windows done tonight. When I get the car back together, I'll stop by Ted (I'll message you first):)

Wow! They really rip you guys off up north for tinting, don't they! Pretty sure I got the Olds Custom Cruiser done with some kind of extra special tint for about $190 total. It sure helps here in Texas. Maybe there's a competitive situation I don't know about. Good luck!

They seem to although I have never priced out regular tint. The tinter that I bought the tint from actually pulled all the windows out to tint. I'd guess he'd be on the higher end of the scale in both price and quality

i dont know how they did mine but it looks factory ...no gaps.

in the south ...where tint is more of a necessity, there are places that do it on every corner!!!!. if somone who does tint comes to Pittsburgh and does it for under $200 inc materials... you will OWN the tinting market in Pittsburgh. ....now on the other hand....remote start..due to the cold weather....that is on every corner here!
