'afternoon everyone. My wife and I just bought our first wagon, a 1970 Buick Estate. I came across this site a couple of days ago and just wanted to say hi. I'm sure we'll be around quite a bit in the future. Thanks a lot and it's nice meeting everybody.
Norman, thank you, it's good to be here. Being an herbalist my wife just loves the old green, I just have to convince her to keep the wood when it comes time for repaint
heck of a stylish yacht you kids bought !! I like the lines on those!! to the garage...newbies always buy the beer
I see herb is online here today. I, somehow, missed his intro?? to the wagon train, herb. I love that wagon. I'm kind of a Buick guy and like that style. If that has a 455 in it it is a good 455...don't take it out and install something else. Wait...if you do...I will buy that engine from you.
Arguably the most elegant GM full-size wagon of that body style run ('65-'70). Congrats, and avoid ditching the woodgrain Di-Noc when you restore.
Musta been a bad day for newbies when Herb signed in. I too am remiss at not saying welcome. Love those wagons - no one cuts you off when you are in one of those - they treat you with great respect Hmmm, green, I'm really liking it......
Nice wagon!! I looked at a Buick as well.. They have a nice line to them. Herb, Can we get some specs on the wagon??
The model year 1970 Estate Wagon was a B-body wagon, based on the LeSabre. Much different from the smaller A-body SportWagon, and also different from the C-body model years 1971/1976 Electra based Estate Wagons.
