Got to make some more room in the garage soon, a new baby is on the way!

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...m=220192046015&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=012

I bought it before it went over the reserve price!

The thing that really sucks is...... I got to drive to Florida right in the middle of winter, pick the new baby up, drive to Pompano Beach, stay with some friends for free for as long as I want to, swim in some 70 degree ocean water (a dream come true), maybe get a little tan, go to the nude beach (not me, thank you very much), party hardy, then drive the new baby back home all the way back to Delaware!

This Just Sucks A Big One!

    I can't wait!

We'll be heading south down though the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel to Virginia Beach, no where near DC or Baltimore! I lived 6 miles from DC for 36 years, that's enough!

I had to go back in Northern Virginia today to fix a roof on my mothers house that we are selling, I don't miss that Beltway at all, it's literally a race track!

Been here full time in Lower, Slower Delaware for 4 years now, anywhere over the Chesapeake Bay, I can do without!

Damn I'm turning into an old fart at 50!

congrats!.... In the 8-ties a (late 70's early 80's) Malibu (and Wagon) wasn't rare at all here in The Netherlands, but now it seems they all got up in smoke. Not much of them left.

To make it even more grand, wasnt 1983 the last year for that car, or did it linger on into 1984?

I notice it has the "CL" luxury option, which is also a nice addition.

    I keep all my wagon's pure stock, I don't like modded wagon's!

That's just my taste though. It would look nice with some late 80's Monte Carlo SS wheels on it though.

72KingswoodEstate, 1983 was the last year for the Malibu until they came back out with the new Malibu. I don't know what CL means!

"CL" was the uplevel trim. It gave you the nicer fabric and usually the fake wood trim on the dashboard.

True, that was the trim option that Chevrolet used alot back then... the Celebrity and Cavalier were also available in "CL" trim. I was just a fancy model.... a nice touch in my opinion.
