New member, included some pictures of my wagons, one is my daily driver and one is a "Project" car. Project car is a 1965 Tempest, 326, Quadra-Jet, 5 Speed car. I got it from a guy in ILL who was going to do something with it, that was about 8 years ago. I did a frame off and did all the work myself except rebuild the engine. I need to get back at it and get it going. The silver car is my daily driver, 6 speeds and all wheel drive, drives like a panzer tank in the deep snow.
to the wagon train, klunk. I had a 65 326 Tempest from CA, it was a great car. Get that thing on the road!
The '65 looks like it's not that far away from being driveable. Too bad your BMW is so nice, it tends to demotivate you from the Tempest. There's another new member from the Netherlands who has a nice '68 Tempest wagon. They're great cars.
"Klunker": If you're on about Peter: I don't think that he's a member yet. Sent him an e-mail about the SWF, but I haven't heard back from him
Welcome to the forums, Klunker. Nice pair you've got there. Surprisingly, you're one of the first here with a BMW wagon (that looks like a 3 series iX, correct?) I like those luxury touring wagons. Had an Audi A6 Avant for a while....
Klunk the Tempest is gonna be pretty nice from the looks of things as for the procrastination?....dont worry...we all get it
Krash, its a 530xi. Best way to buy a BMW is used with low miles. They have a great warantee. got mine a year old with 1500 miles on it. The Pontiac gets worked on in spurts. Sometimes the car doesn't get farther but the parts for it do. I finally settle out the tailgate window last month. Am working on some other parts for the assembly now. and the cars next step is to glue in the headliner. Thanks all for the kind words.
Welcome aboard. I've had my '67 Tempest for quite some time now, don't see many of the Pontiacs. I'll look forward to chatting with you about it.
