I don't think an amature restoration is the way to go, so I'm looking for a decent dash pad (tan)......also, tailgate molding clips. Has anyone heard of reproduction seals for the roof rack? Thanks, Rob

Rob, somebody just asked about that. It was a GM wagon ). Caprice, I think. Run a Search on our site for roofrack or roof rack. Anyway, he did find something.

When I was looking to replace my dash pad on my Parisienne, I found out about these dash caps on ebay. They are a molded piece of vinyl that glues right over top of the old dash pad. They come in black, but the color can be easily changed to whatever you want with some good quality vinyl paint. I was going to go with this one, but then the local wrecking yard got a mint condition Parisienne sedan in with a perfect dash pad, so I got that one and never followed through with the ebay dash cap. Just something you may want to consider. It also says on the ebay listing that he will give you a $10 rebate if you send him before and after pictures.

As far as the roof rack seals, I don't think repos are made. There is next to nothing reproduced for the 80's GM wagons. If it is leaking though, a little silicon on the threads of the screws before reinstalling should take care of the problem.

They are not vinyl, they are hard plastic. I've got one, still in the plastic wrapper. I'll let it go for less than the discounted ebay price. Email me if interested.
