Im up the air with what i wanna do with the monte carlo and its power adder ordeal. Its ready to get the guts sprayed out of it but i like the idea of a lil turbo setup considering turbo is free HP to a 25% lose of supercharger setup.

I plan on runnin a single turbo setup nothing big, maybe a gt35r or sc67...

    what do ya think

I'm sold on turbo EFI systems. You can get decent mileage, better HP improvements, AND, you can add water injection and get even better MPG and HP/Torque output. I'm on the hunt for a good setup for sometime next year.

This is on the Monte, right? Would they all be stock upgrades from later years? I haven't been around GM cars since 1975.

HandyAndy found a sweet Ford six setup in Aussie for an Aussie 250 Ford CID engine. Hope he follows up on it.

I'm gonna watch out for a Ford 2.3L car for the Turbo and plumbing/electronic setup.

I'll betcha you'll never see daylight from under the car or on top once you shoehorn a turbo setup in there. Small price to pay for efficiency. :thumbs2:

    Plenty of room?:biglaugh:

Must be one small turbo or one big shoehorn.

If you ran a top mounted Supercharger, it would be a snap, but you've got exhaust loops to deal with from the manifolds.

My first and only Turbo was a 1966 Corvair Monza HT with a paxton turbo, and it was a lady in the city, but a junkyard dog on the highway.

From what I've read, the compression has to be down around the mid 8 to 1 to low 9 to 1 ratios. I think my corvair was around 8.8 to 1.
