    1974 BUICK RAT WAGON 455 - $3300 (STONE MTN)

    "This is a 1974 Buick Estate Wagon Custom. Original black car, woodgrain removed, black primer in its place. All new upholstery, black and tan. Power tailgate and window. 4" cowl induction hood, headers, HEI dist. and chrome side pipes. 1972 455 4bbl, out of riviera 76,000 miles. Rebuilt turbo 400 trans. Runs great. Needs carpet and windows sealed. Paint? 255-60-15 and 295-50-15 BFG tires. Black rims. P/S, P/B, A/C, P/Seats and locks. 770-330-1969 "

    I'm not real familiar with these. Is it fixable, with an original hood, bumper and some new dual exhaust? :confused:

    Yeah, it is fixable. Don't know how hard the parts might be to locate but with the right hood and bumper, the exhaust, it might be a decent beater/driver. Who knows what other sins are hidden within but from the current look it is save-able.


    I've seen worse done to cars and with a few weekend of dedicated effort they turn in to nice drivers. And often for not a lot of money.

    I looks like it could be saved. It has potential. That hood scoop is a no go for me. I like the tinted back windows. The flat black is blah. Yes a good hood and bumper would be nice and a shiny black paint job. Then it would look like a worth while cruiser.
