This Pinto was a feature car in Hemmings Classic Car some months ago. It looks like new and has low milage. I'm surprised it's listed in a no reserve auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1977...ewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item23063ac03b
Saw a Pinto wagon at the junkyard today with Norm. Unfortunately the batteries on the camera died, so no
What an exceptional survivor. Great car plus it'd be fun to drive with the 4 spd. I wish I knew the history of it. 25000 in 33 years. What the heck is that all about? Did someone forget they had it in the garage?
Year or two ago, there was a nice E-bay (?) listing for an orange Squire down in the San Diego area. I believe that Stefan got some of the pics for the gallery.....
That's a mighty sharp Pinto wagon there. I had a '76 Pinto Squire. Nice little car. Sure nicer than that butt ugly John Wayne, longhorn wagon for sale.
That's the truth, BFM. I'd take the Pinto anyday over Duke's ugly creation. The shame of it is that I think that was probably a nice Poncho wagon before he and Barris got their hands on it.
Oh yeah, no doubt. Ya gotta remember.....back when Barris created that, that, that.....Thing, LSD was very popular.
No ****? YIKES! That'd kill me nowadays. But Boy-O-Boy, did I have fun with that stuff when I was young. The storys I could tell....... Frightening!
