i do beleive that is mr mcfeely[i think thats how u spell it] off mr rogers neighborhood boys and girls lol
correct-a-mundo the one and only mr mcfeely (aka david newell) was here for a home saftey thing they were doing up on the 6th floor. i must say...he really was a nice guy. just like fred rogers it just occoured to me that our canadian friends (while they may have beaten us at curling)...may not know what mister rogers is aboot!
I never watched Mr. Rogers, but I recall seeing it, when a nephew was watching him. Mr. Feely is unknown though.
OK, now the face makes sence. I remember Mr Rogers was on PBS via the UHF dial on the TV, I never got interested in the show...to be honest Mr Rogers kinda creeped me out. On a side note......in todays day and age there is no way a charactor on a childrens TV show would get away with having a name Mr Mc"feely", thats just wrong
We had the Friendly Giant, out of WBEN-TV in Buffalo, NY when we were in Oshawa, ON. And the Roadrunner Hour - AKA the freakin' best cartoons ever! meep, meep. Yippee for ACME.
Friendly Giant was cool, I can still totally remember the castle. Sunday nite was TV nite, Roadrunner Hour, then Walt Disney....then Lawrence Welk witch my parrents watched..."les a turn on a da bubble a machine, wunaful a wanaful"
I remember the name via the media, but not the face. I was too old for Mr. Rogers (obviously), and my kids were kinda too young. I grew up on Buffalo Bob and Howdy Doody, Engineer Bill, Tweety and Sylvester, the Road Runner, and of course.............. "Nuthin' up my sleeve........."
Do you remember when Disney got all the FM stereo stations to run the sound in Stereo to sync with their first Stereo program of Swan Lake? I've tried to find a recording of the original (sort of early 60's) before VHS. The remake doesn't cut the elegance and artistic skills of those early ones.
No - the Beaver was Wally's brother. Rocket J. SQUIRREL if you please! Cartoonists tend to take some poetic license. For instance, There's no way a flying squirrel stands about 1/2 as high as a moose.......
