The 78 year old owner of the car lot on Hwy 33 in Wisconsin west of Saukville, which consisted of mainly Buick Roadmaster wagons, was tragically killed while cleaning snow on his property on Feb 10th. He had a deep passion for the Buick wagons and had numerous other collector cars. He was quite involved in helping out people in the area that were less fortunate and will missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
No, never saw it, snoot. But I sure WOULD have if I had known it was there! I'm in WI and never knew about the place or this guy. I would like to know more about this story. His lot, how he died etc. Is there an article I can access somewhere, rocketrex? A link?
It's called Midwest Roadmaster and it is on Rte 33 just outside of Newburgh, Wi. I couldn't find a website.
The man's name was Raymond Kirmse. Seems he was using a old cabless front end loader that didn't have any brakes. While backing up he hit the awning on the garage and got pinched between it and the steering wheel. The local TV stations had info on their websites. Fox TV6 WITI Milwaukee seemed to have the most info.
Wow, I hate to say it but carelessness wins again. I really feel bad for the family that the accident happened.
