Sounds like that Stations of the Cross ritual, Barry. But generally, that's how it goes. One way or another we get our last ride in a wagon.

I would love that engine/tranny combo for my '57.

The seats too, and maybe that ring dang doo stereo that is like new since the owner hasn't figured out how to work it = those are the best kind to dig up

The wheels would look good too. You wouldn't mind letting the doctor know that you are an organ donor and available any time would you?

And forget cremation - the gas tank would explode so they won't do the car...

Hey guys, I get first dibs with the shovel - oh yeah, and dibs on the parts too....

Not that we won't miss ya here Fox, but, well, parts is parts and good parts are worth doing some digging around for

So with the above being said, several points can be made to disagree with the inclusion of the Mini Cooper Clubman into the dignified and elite ranks of the Station Wagon Legions:
    1. A Clubman would not be able to carry a family and luggage from the train station. Although a couple of kids and there lunch boxes could get to school in one.
    2. If one defined there next to last "station" in life by driving a Clubman they might want want to run it into a wall at full speed so they could finally rest in a real wagon (ie. a Hearse).
    3. If you stuck a surf board out the back of a Clubman a strong wind might turn the poor little guy on it's back, not a usual thing for a real wagon to experience.

OUCH!!! That one is gonna leave a mark!

I guess with what little money I'm making, I don't mind my last station being current daily driver.
