I have a very nice vintage plastic molded truck and trailer in my collection that does not have any manufacturing name or numbers on it. It looks similar a Thomas Toys Searchlight truck but has several different features like metal bumper, wheels and headlights. It also has a power source that takes D-cell batteries and a large tooth gear on the rear axle and no mounting holes in the bed or the trailer like the searchlight truck would have.
I have searched Ideal Toys which is where Islyn Thomas worked until he created Thomas Toys and Acme Plastic who he did business with.
Any help in finding the identity of the truck would be appreciated.
