I had a 76 LTD Brougham and the seats were so comfy. I would fall asleep on the way home riding in it.

Mine was a Parklane Brougham 4-dr HT. Too comfy, but lots of GO!

Nope I had it when mine was small. They could sunbath and turn over without hitting the back glass if they wanted to

Finally found a decent interior photo of one...

this one happens to be for sale at country classic cars in Illinois....

This also appears to have the rim-blow steering wheel. I dont think the seat material is quiet as luxurious as the LTD Brougham, but it is nicer than the standard CS interior. Also has the Brougham door panels...

1971 Country Squire "Brougham" question answered.

I apologize for the delay in answering this question, but I just found and joined this site. I have a 1971 Ford Color Trim book and I found that there was no "Brougham" interior option for the Country Squire, but there was a "Luxury Interior" in a nearly identical interior pattern.

The seat and door panel patterns are the same, but the LTD Brougham interior had a cloth and vinyl pattern while the CS "Luxury Interior" was vinyl and knit vinyl. See pictures below.

The 1972 Color Trim Book shows basically the same thing available for the wagon, but there was no longer a standard bench available for the LTD Brougham. Hope this helps.

Thanx Tbird, Your pics were a nice blast from the past when you HAD OPTIONS for a car, not like today where you can have ugly TAN or ugly GREY, thats it, no combo nothing just the 2 horid colours and patterns that every body elses car has.
