Disappointing to say but it's a sign of the times!

 

Insanity. Ford already has an over 100 day supply of unsold E Mustangs, there is no real infrastructure of charging stations outside of CA, the Fed Govt wants to close power plants that burn coal and most people are running out of money because of inflation. Looks like the perfect environment to change over to a $45,000 + electric vehicle fleet. I am holding onto everyone of my gas burners including the 3 V8s.

 

That answers a question for me. I was at a meeting last week and our state senator was the featured speaker. We are getting Ford's Blue Oval plant in our county where E-cars and batteries will be manufactured. A gentleman in the audience asked if he know why Ford had cut the price of their E-cars by $10k. That would certainly answer the question.

 

A friend of ours in STL county wanted to relocate their restaurant. Even tho they would be leasing, the county requires that THEY install charging stations outside the restaurant building they don’t own at their expense.

what happens next time they cut country’s electricity and freeze Texas again???

 

ERCOT's not stepping into that furball anytime soon. They already can't handle wind and solar electricity added to the state grid this Summer. *rolls eyes*
