Well, I'm back...joined some time ago and forgot about it. Not really too big on setting at the computer when I could be doing something constructive. Don't know how to do all the razmatazz with the cute little people. I ran the wagon for a short while last year, just getting ready to fire it again after changing the rear main seal ( in the car, not recommended!!! Engine is 272 Y block .040 over, all stock except for that small 4 holer on top. Had dual exhaust so stuck with that. Needs rockers and some small spots fixed. It has a mid 90s power rack, but as easily as it steers maybe don't need to power it, will see. Anyway, looking for some parts, so will head over to that area. RJ in Northern Michigan
Wait… what kind of wagon?! Post some pics! I hate computers too. That’s why I carry I tiny pocket sized one everywhere i go! I feel like removing the transmission is easier to get to the rear main than removing the engine. Glad you’re back!
Well I guess I really don't know how to do this forum stuff. It's a 55 Ford Country Sedan, 4 door. I tried to post that I am looking for sliding rear window latches and evidently I did it wrong as somebody moved it. There have been no other replies so this may just be a waste of time.
Just hang out. Somebody might be able to help you. Some times it takes a while for a response, hopefully it will be sooner and not later. Good luck with your search!
You posted fine, it was just in the Parts for Sale section instead of the Parts Wanted section so I moved it. As wagoninsane said, not everyone is on here all the time, so it may take a bit for the right person to see your post. If you click on "Garage" in the banner above, you can then click on "Add Your Wagon" to create a post for it. Welcome to the forums, we are glad you are here.
Welcome back picachored. Sometimes these things take a little getting used to. But there's a great community of like minded folks here. I use the desktop mostly, but I know that more and more folks are using their pocket computers to access the forums. However you want to do it, when you find you have some downtime seems the best. I hope you enjoy it.
Welcome aboard Ditto what everyone else said. It does take time for someone to answer your post. As frustrating as that is when all you want to do is get going with your project. Good luck, hope you find what you're looking for soon.
