As much of a bad rep as these cars got, they really were neat cars. A lot of craftsmanship and love went into the design, even if the public didn't like them. The '59 cars were way more "modern" than the '58 ones too which makes them easier to find parts for.
I have always liked them. There was a 59 wagon down the hill from my house on an old abandoned farmstead for the entirety of my childhood. So every time I see one of these it takes me back.
