    Be carefull what you wish for. Some of those have even rolled off of the assembly line with only 198er Slant Sixes :nailbiting:

    RE: #'s 30317 and 30318....

    30317 Certainly looks like downtown Culver City, CA, the town where I was born in 1951. Looks like the photo was taken in the very early 60's - 1960 Ford coming toward the camera. The old hotel on the very sharp triangular corner is still there today! Lots of other changes though......

    #30318 was also taken in Culver City - corner of Sepulveda Bl and Washington Bl. For my first few years, we lived at my aunt's house, only a few blocks from this intersection. The 'Big Donut Drive-In' is long gone. One or two of my high school classmates at Venice High School worked there for a while. There is another 'BIG DONUT' shop in Inglewood, a few miles away, which still exists, called 'Randy's Donuts'.

    Referring to the above post, except for that one remaining building standing, that area is ruined to the point where nobody would want to drop a bomb on it, so as to not do anyone any favor. "There should be a law...", as they used to say :grumpy:
