No Reserve: 2,800-Mile 1985 Buick Riviera for sale on BaT Auctions - ending September 5 (Lot #83,525) | Bring a Trailer
Gorgeous looking Rivera. Why can't car companies come up with designs like this anymore? Or does it just not matter if people will buy their generic SUVs?
$23,000 with 5 days to go? Looks like you’re in good company jwtenn. I also agree this is a stunning car. Think pretty much what used to be great design teams at the automakers have been relegated to California design centers where they’re comfortable tweaking designs on bloated looking SUVs. Some of the muscle cars are still exciting, but those seem to be y.o.y performance enhancements versus real design chances. Not sure if I had to tell a 2012 Camaro from a 2022 Camaro I could. Sure minor nuances but could you imagine Ford with a basic ‘66 Mustang design in ‘76? How many changes did we see over that span? 4 different distinct changes? That’s why to me new cars aren’t very exciting Amy more. Man we sure grew up at the right time.
