    1961. New Newport, full size value. Astro-dome, fins, push button transmission, and canted headlights. Does it get any better? And a hardtop to Boot!

    The suburbs I grew up in was full of wagons and we never saw one of these - way to upscale.

    Same here......
    I lived on a VERY loooong street - 33 houses on our side, 32 on the other, without interruption. There were some nicer houses down at the south end of the block, but up by the north end, where we lived, strictly middle-class. No fancy wagons among us. The neighbors must have thought we were going upscale in 1966 when the folks bought the wood-paneled Caprice Custom wagon, but truth be known, it didn't even have air conditioning........ LOL.

    Well..crud...it was a pretty decent 1962 Hardtop Chrysler wagon project for 5k.....
