Rare to see one of these without the vinyl roof. Looks much cleaner without the top. What an elegant design these were. 1984 Buick Riviera Coupe | eBay
Clean looking car! The owner was smart: no vinyl top. My only real complaint with these is the wire wheels looked like my grandfather's car and were the epitome of uncool in high school. Smooth riders though, but with only 140HP it should be ;-)
I am so with jwdtenn and 60Mercman on this subject. For the longest time I thought American auto companies lost their styling mojo in the 70s. Now a think the 80s were a very good time for American auto design and GM did some of their best ever interiors in the 80s.
I really wish you could buy new cars with velour seats now. Leather is cold in the winter and hot in the summer.
Yeah it is. I got in Roger yesterday afternoon, zorched my honey when I went to shut the RH wing window. Ended up with hot cross buns....
That is a nice looking Riviera, My mother loved her 85, but it was a very base model car with a vinyl roof. This one in this condition actually has a realistic asking price of under $25K
