I just happened to be in the Yakima area today and stumbled across a nice little car show in Moxee, Washington. I only saw 3 wagons there but it was still pretty early in the day. Tons of Chevelles and Camaros but not much Pontiac or Mopar love. There were a few sweeties, though.
Haha. Was in Yakima with OrthmannJ a few weeks ago and saw that same ‘55 Ford. Man that guy was so insistent that his car was an ultra rare country squire. Looks like graphics on a ranch wagon. He was something else.
That was definitely not the original wood panels but some sort of graphics. He wasn't around, so I didn't talk to him. Probably for the best?
As my dad used to say…… Talking to that guy was like teaching a pig to dance. The pig resents it, and you get dirty.
Bill, this Buick and the 55 Chivy next to it belong to the fellow who is selling the Merc. His brother Marshall, who we visited with, was there with both of cars. I've been around that 55 since I was about 10 years old. I hate to see it up for sale, but that's how life goes.
Did you see the line up of chevy truck/blazer/suburban/RV? That was pretty neat. All owned by one family.
We were just passing through to visit a dog breeder in Ellensburg that we are considering. Being the fan of PNW microbrewing that I am, my wife suggested that we should stop for a photo in Moxee City Park with the big hop sculpture. We had no idea that a car show was going on until we arrived. We were there from 10 - 11 AM. We will be coming back late summer to get a puppy. We will have to connect then.
I really liked that Blazer! My wife's favorite was the 70 Chevelle right nearby. . We both really liked this beauty.
It was very nice to see the east side of the state at this time of year when everything was green! Got some great photos along the way.
