Asking top dollar for a vehicle that's decidedly less than top-dollar. I think it's worth about a third of what's being asked.
People pay stupid money for these early year Suburbans, so while it's overpriced he may very well get a decent chunk of change for it. That said there is a decent amount of things wrong with it that aren't cheap to fix, but the 'burb crowd tends to be guys who don't care for that stuff working anyways.
Maybe guys that have these, saw that Blazer go for $45k (?), and think i can easily get 1/4 of that even though this has higher mileage etc.
Looks like the Bowtie crowd wants to catch up to the Cherokee and Bronco fanatics. To each his own I guess.
