Last week theG20 summit talks held up the pick up and now they have no trucks in the area. These guys are supposed to be good. A really sweet '64 Laurention wagon came in the store today. An old guy with a great sense of humor.

Its easy to forget that Fedex now ships cars. A friend of mine shipped his 69 Coronet RT convertible from Virginia to Florida by FedEx when he moved. That was actually 4 or 5 years ago. Anyone hesitating to buy a car from another state because they don't know how to get it shipped, should keep FedEx in mind as just one of several possible transport companies to consider.

I actually have a 6 pack Road Runner Rag., but have never used FedEx before. I hope they are as reliable as their reputation, although a little tardy.

Probably shipped by train, which means waiting for a bunch of other railcars to keep the trip efficient.

Not sure on that. No scheduled pick up date as yet. Supposedly enclosed transport truck.

    I won't ask how much.

HandyAndy and I drove down to the southwest corner of North Dakota in his 6 cylinder Fairmont wagon, so he could drive up the other one that he bought down there. Total cost for gas and one motel night was about $1,200. Then $100 penalty because it had AC, plus GST, plus transit license. The wagon cost less.

FedEx still... hasn't picked up. The first pick up window expired so they simply issued another one Is this an example of their reliability? Should I look elsewhere for enclosed transport? I figure it would cost 14-1600 dollars to do it myself, plus the travel time off work. Just over 2 grand for FedEx.

I really do have a sister there, coincidence? I can't wait to see the car, I can't remember ever seeing one. I have a 2 door sedan quite like it.

who's your sister? I just moved back here a couple years ago when I found my wagon. I might know some of the same people if she likes cars. I picked my wagon for the character in her body lines but man I think yours has me beat!(y)
