I wish it was a 409.. But sorry to say it is a 348.. The speedo is showing 40,000, can't really say if it has turned over or not. We purchased it three years ago off an Indian resorvation in Arizonia. When we got it home we tore the engine down to check everthing out. you could still read the GM stamps on the main bearings so I think it could be origional mileage. As for the paint it is all origional, showing a few age spots here and there but really solid. We have installed power brakes, a 700R tranny, power steering, vintage air and new interior. I have to say it is a blast to drive and draws a lot of attention.. Thanks for the nice comments..

That's a fine lookin 60! I had a 60 Bel-Air as my first car. Love the big block with the three-deuces!! And the suntan copper (mine was that color originally). Welcome to the site!

Welcome to the board! I'm stoked on the W block! My '59 Parkwood came with a 348, and I'm in the process of rebuilding it. I was just waiting for the Edelbrock aluminum heads to come down in price, and nows the time!

    Great lookin wagon!(y)
