Said to be only '69 Ranchero in Wimbledon White with 428 Cobra Jet and bucket seats. True? Or not? No reserve auction at the Toronto Classic Car Auction Oct. 13 -15. http://www.ccpauctions.com/lot-details.php?RefNum=r143&EventID=98
I guess if the Marti report breaks it down then it is legit. Then again Marti reports break down almost every car to be one of one optioned exactly like the car being researched. I usually just go to the model and maybe the engine and stop there. It doesn't really add any value to me to know that my car is the only one built with the optional vunyl seat pattern, high capacity radiator, dash mounted tissue dispenser, painted green, with the six cylinder engine in 1967.
^^^ Agreed. I'd like to know how many '69 Rancheros came equipped with the 428 CJ. That would be a true indication of how rare it is.
Oh wow. I just clicked on the link. Didn't do that before. This is a SCJ, not just a CJ. 1 of 11 1969 Ranchero GTs with a 428 SCJ. Pretty dang rare. Even 1 of 183 with the CJ is pretty rare.
That's not what it says—it shows 11 ram air/automatic cars had the Drag Pack. There were 4 versions available: Q-code (non-ram air) R-code (with ram air) And 4-speed or auto.
Thanks.....organizing some questions on a Buick wagon when I get the chance—the real reason why I signed up!
Right on. If you get a chance, stop by the Welcome wagon Sub forum and tell us a little about yourself. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/forums/the-welcome-wagon.4/
