Anyone have a 66 plymouth belvedere I wagon that has this cut out in the plastic spare tire cover?
I do not know what this was for.
    Please help.

    Thanks,

If it was in my '63 Country Sedan, I'd say it was a slot to deposit money into... ;)

I have a 64 Plymouth Fury, but it's completely different than this, so unfortunately I can't say what it is either.

I agree on the money slot. It always happens when you start restoring anything that it takes a lot more than you anticipated.

The 67 just has a molded indent for a finger hold in the tire cover. DSCN7334.JPG

Mine doesn't have a seat in the way back, so it just has storage under the floor. The floor panel opens up the other direction, so it doesn't come near the tire cover.
