No. It's a Cali car, black plates and all. It is in transit from the North Eastern US. I do have an issue, no ownerships, Does anyone have any experience importing autos into Canada and know a way around this?

Don't know if Ontario changed the process, but you brought in the last plates, registration and a receipt. The Border is gonna be the issue. You have to stop on the US side, show the paperwork and then pay any duties on the Canadian side. You've got to get the owner to do a title search and send you and your shipper a notarized copy.

You'll pay a $100 penalty if it has AC, and PST/GST on the Canadian side.

The way I do them all. Mechanically restored, cleaned, and iron out any wrinkles without hurting the paint. Then drive it, it's too nice to alter. I'll leave that to someone else, when I die. Now that I have acquired the Holy Grail I would like to sell my '66 Beetle:)

That is a very pretty wagon. Let us know how it goes and post more pics when it's in your hands.

Nice looking car. A friend of mine had a 4-Door Sedan back in the '60's. I remember riding in it.

    Keep us posted.

That looks like my 61 valiant wagon. It was a good little car except the door handles like to fall off, The slant 6 had a habbit of flooding, and I mean flooding. I'd like to find one. Greg

Actually, no. It is a California car exported to Pittsburg in the sixties. In a garage since 1970. Still waiting on FedEx to pick it up. This has been a 2 month ordeal to get this car.
