howdy to everyone on the forum. Building a 53 Chrysler Town&Country New Yorker. Hope that hot orders are a welcome part of this forum, there is nothing Kooler that a well done Wagon Rodin my opinion. My T&C will have a stock exterior with original paint with the exception of a tucked front bumper. All the chrome has been rechromed ($$$$$$ouch). Power rack and pinion steering, lowered front and rear, new Chrysler wires, complete leather interior, built 440 motor with a GM4L60e trans. The car was a Southern California desert car with no rust what so ever, with a completely fried interior, rubber and wiring but only 53K miles and NO RUST. Should be completed this summer and I think will make a really neat ride.

Welcome! As others have said, that sounds like a sweet ride you are going to have. We all love photographs, so post as many as you can. Also, feel free to start a build thread in the "Station Wagon Projects" section here: http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/forums/cosmetic-restoration.9/ Looking forward to hearing more about this wagon.
Welcome aboard! That is a sweet ride. You certainly don't get to see many '53 Chrysler wagons. That sure is one fine example. Thanks for sharing the pics.
As anyone who has ever built a car know sometimes they take just a little longer than you thought. MyTC did make it to The Cobo. Hall show and while. It looked pretty good it was a long way from being the driver I wanted. I put disc ( Kanter Kit) on the front end and used their kit to rebuild thrcomplete front end , this worked well . Because of the 440 I needed to replace the steering box for clearance. I went with a power FlamingRiver rack. I also have a March serpentine belt system which used a GM power steering pump. After much searching we discovered the was a pressure problem between the two, FR needs 800 psi GM was putting out 1200 psi.....results very twitche steering......fix is a simple kit from SummitRacing. Next problem I used a Rebuilt and modified GM 4L60e overdrive electric
