A little rough around the edges, but overall looks like a very good restoration candidate. Price seems fair at under $4,000. Has A/C and a third seat. For me, the first thing to go would be the wheels. https://eugene.craigslist.org/ctd/6602975084.html
I have nothing against those wheels. What I oppose is bad taste. In my opinion, on that car, they don't look good.
I applaud having a take for sure. Perhaps if they were the correct argent - or had been repainted body color (Ralleye IIIs). And were also of matching size...maybe I see your point. Those look like they were rattle-canned black.
The wheels and wheelcovers this car needs are the ones it came with from the factory. These cars were family haulers, not sports cars.
My favourite year for these with the split headlights Being a hubcap/wheel cap fan sometimes you have to put the factory look behind when it comes to fugly, I can think of several wheel caps that would that factory photo pop, ones on it take away from the cars looks
If anyone insists on sporting up one of these, they should at least do it right. I second the motion, that Rally IIs don't harmonize with that wagon
We'll just have to wait until Krash shows up with one of his dealership brochures. He's bound to get to the bottom of this
