https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/bar/d/1969-lincoln-continental/6592244381.html Edit: There's a price discrepancy--the header says $3500, but the last paragraph says $500 or trade for a broken riding mower.
Actually it says at the end...................... i have to let her go and dont make it worse by offering me 500 buck or your old broken riding mower. So he really wants his $3500 for heap, $ 500 would be a awesome parts car but not a restore considering it's sat out all those years and the pics show it. What a wing nut seller though, even refers to the car as Chrysler, wonder if he is from a Bavarian decent considering the what planet are you from crack pipe lingo/description in the ad?
Ah, keen eye you have. Yeah, he's gonna end up keeping it. If it was a runner, and didn't have the stigma it does have, $3500 would be a good price. But he needs to be realistic about what he's doing. It's not a $3500 car after an ex rammed it, then it ran away at a jack knife and crunched the trunk and bumper.
He doesn't say it is a Chrysler... Read the text... "" one of the reasons i choose chrysler for school,"" I am willing to bet if you offered the seller substantially less he would take it....
It looks like it indeed has little rust which is a good start. A fair trade or a negotiated realistic price should suit him

Gawd, I’m not sure what’s worse, the ads that simply say “69 Continental. $3500” . Or this guy. At some points I didn’t know if I was reading about a person or the car. A whole lot of malarkey to wade through just to get to a point. Can you imagine what this guy is like in person?
Well, the seller does state they are open to trades. However, there is the caveat that "it has to be pretty sweet for me to bite" So I guess if there is anyone out there that is tired of their 68 SS Camaro and is looking for a new project, this could be your golden opportunity.
