So that's the original paint!? That is impressive! The whole package is just amazing. I am sure you get much enjoyment out this beautiful machine. Thanks for sharing it with us.
It has been driven a total of four blocks to reload it in an enclosed trailer after being in The Autorama Car Show. It’s still Winter here in Michigan so it won’t hit the road for another month.
The paint isn’t factory original but a repaint due to being wrecked in the right front sometime in the late n50s. The color was changed from green to the brown. Although it looks great in photos it is a 20 footer. I am wrestling with whether or not to repaint it next winter...I think it would be Kool with a Champagne bottom with a high metallic Root Beer top, but I also think 50 years old paint is Kool. I have an interest in a body shop so this makes the decision even harder. Thanks for your comment.
Wow, yeah, I’d say it’s done. Took ya long enough! I thought it was supposed to be out on the road last summer!!!
Your statement has been copied and saved, for the day you present us your V-8 1954 Pontiac. If you don't meet our deadline, it will get thrown back at you, with interest compounded daily Looks like you have quite a bit to worry about, for the next three seasons. I vote for Champagne and Root Beer. Not necessarily in that order
There are always the unforeseen hurdles here and there. I swear, I can’t change oil without having to go to the parts store at least twice. Keep the paint! With money it would have costs to do a color swap get a new project and paint it with champagne and root beer! Car looks great!
