New here, but not new to wagons, as I spent most of my childhood in GM wagons. As an adult, I've owned a 2005 Magnum R/T AWD, a 1994 Caprice, and now my 1991 Country Squire.

The Squire has a 302 lopo block, junkyard E7 heads, Explorer intake and TB, "Lincoln log" manifolds, wide-ratio AOD transmission, 3.55LSD, and some suspension upgrades. The previous owner has a Trickflow-headed 306 that I'm (likely) buying this year, and that'll make this a lot more fun:

I also have a Marauder and a manual-swapped P71, but that's not relevant to this forum so I guess that's all I need to say about them.

    Anyway, hi.

Welcome. Cool wagon. I’ve wanted a marauder since I first saw one. Don’t they only come in black?!

Black was the most popular color and ran through the entire model run (2003 & 04).
Additionally, lesser numbers were available in Dark Pearl Blue (2003) and Dark Toreador Red and Silver Birch (2004).

    DPB was the rarest color.

(it may have been Dark Blue Pearl, I can't remember what the official nomenclature was)

    Welcome aboard!
Looks like you have some sweet FoMoCo rides there.
It also looks like you enjoy them!

Nice rides! Welcome to the Station Wagon Forum!

Since you've 'improved' the 302 in your Country Squire, there would most likely be some interest in a discussion thread on how to make more power in the '79 - '91 Crown Vic / Country Squire. Put the thread in the 'General Automotive Tech' section...

Welcome, I have an 85 colony Park with a stock Windsor 302 - would really like more power without going over the top, still want it to look stock, any suggestions?

Welcome neighbor, I'm closer to Akron. I like the 3 horses you have in the stable.

For both of these, I'd sooner just point everyone to GrandMarq.net - tons of 'Box' info there. Specifically, how to HO swap: http://www.grandmarq.net/vb/showthread.php?3147-HO-Conversion-Mike-s-Tips-and-FAQ

My buddy, the previous owner, is the mastermind of this vehicle...and will be helping me with the 306 swap planned for later this year.

I'm east of CLE in Lake County. :D
