Friend I use to work with owned it. I went and looked at it a few years ago for him when he wanted to buy it. He got bored with it a year ago and wanted to sell it to me. I took my trailer to get it and we were close to a deal when I left to go get it. When I got there his cousin convinced him it was worth 2 1/2 times what I offered. I told him from beginning I was going to do a little work on it and sell it. I wanted us to both be happy with the deal being friends. I told him I figured what I offered and work I was going to do I would make x amount of dollars. I offered $250 more before I left but his cousin had him convinced it was worth way more. We shook hands and told me if it didn't sell he would call me. He called me last week and offered it to me at $750 less than I offered last year. I wasn't looking and kind of bad timing but I figured I might be able to sell it at Crusin the Coast to someone. It's a good running, driving, 6 cylinder car. Looks like 1 repaint years ago and vinyl top was taken off back then also. It has 2 small rust holes on both front fenders about size of a quarter. It's begging for a set of white wall tires. Here's a few pictures of my jewel.
I sold this car back in November to the Commercial Counter parts guy I deal with at my job. Didn't know until a few texts and after setting up a meeting with him. He shows up and we laugh. He had no idea and said he didn't realize he didn't tell me he was looking for a project car. It's been his daily driver since he bought it. He comes and passes by the shop every couple weeks to talk cars while he's on lunch break.
