That's the same one I got from JC Whitney, a couple years ago. My car only needed one roll, but a big wagon like that would need 2 rolls.
hey Stormin' just wanted to ask you if you are on the Fairmont302 message board also. I am on there under the username 83montlvr
No. My wife is an MSN user, and when I try to go to an MSN site, the darn thing won't accept my ID or password. Part of the problem is that I was a Microsoft Developer Network member, in a past life, and when I went to register my XP Pro version it over rode my MSDN ID, so I got Microsoft to change me back to the MSDN ID. MSN sites don't like me, and I won't use my wife's ID. I'm on FourEyed Pride (same as here) and the Yahoo Fairmont sites too (squiremont). If you're running a 6, the Fordsix site is good too (I6 or V6, but mostly I6es.) And the Maverick site: http://mmb.maverick.to/index.php I went there because my car was built in Mexico, and some guys are from there. Mine has some parts that aren't in US/CDN Fairmonts, like the hoop headliner, for instance. Since our cars were kept alive, to varying degrees, through Mustangs and TBird/Cougars until 1993, we can score parts from quite a range of Fords. Good to know, when you break down somewhere near Waco, TX.
Good News, Fairmont302 isn't on msn anymore. it was moved in like November of last year. I got the notice back then, but I just rejoined it last week. Here is the link to the new forum: http://fairmont302.aforumfree.com/index.htm
Meanwhile...back at the 1971 Dodge Monaco Station Wagon... I love this wagon's striking looks...very unique. For those of you that love Chrysler's fuselage bodied fleet, here is the definitive site: http://www.fuselage.de/index.html Whoever designed the fuselage site really went to an incredible amount of effort and creativity. Click on any model or year, and it pulls up the cars. Click on any pic in a featured brochure, and it pulls up the page and pics. Very beautifully done.
T&C and the Monaco from those years had the same body. That one's a Monaco, though. You can tell by the tail lights.
