"Shill bidding" is the first thing that comes to mind looking at this auction. Sure, it's a nice Honda Accord, but hey! It's just a Honda Accord, guys! k***o (eBay feedback score of 0) and d***g (eBay score more respectable 20) are the prime suspects. http://www.ebay.com/itm/222646262367?_trksid=p2471758.m4703
looking at the bidding history looks like real bidding up to $6000 then really stupid bidding buy people with less than 20 feedback, some with no feedback, hmmmm may have something with the shill biding. Accords to me are good running toasters nothing to get exited about, but would always get you were you wanted to go.
Right. When the carb or carbs worked. I've R&R'd more Keihin carbs from Hondas than you can shake a stick at. They run till they don't, and finding someone who has Honda carb knowledge is just about impossible, and want to be paid in Unobtainium when you do.
Back on eBay for buy-it-now price of $19,500. I guess k***o didn't really want it that badly. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1983-Honda...ash=item33e0a72abd:g:Q38AAOSw6HJZvEt9&vxp=mtr
Or you could have this fine piece of automotive history for possibly under $1,000. Current bidding at $686.00 with a bit more than one day to go on the auction. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1983-Honda...ash=item5d794bb9c5:g:dQQAAOSwxzdaQ~74&vxp=mtr
