He definitely should add some music if nothing else. No sound until the engine is running. Speaking of the engine running, what's going on with the upper radiator hose? He's got something wrapped around a segment of it. The yellow arrow points at it. If it's some kind of patch, why not just put a new hose on?
Are original hoses even still available? Old heaps ended up having to get universal types, because stocks of originals have been depleted
They are readily available at any auto parts store. Rockauto.com shows them available from three different manufacturers (Dayco, Gates, ACDelco). The 455 engine was installed in millions of Oldsmobiles between 1968 and 1976. Even though it's been 42 years since the last one was installed new in a car, I think parts will be available for them in the aftermarket for many years to come.

I think it is just a piece of old hose tied as a guard near where the V-belt spins near the hose. I have seen that done in the past. Most times for piece of mind as some stock hose to V-belt's are very close, and if the hose is alittle long they can sag into the V-belt. The real fix is to trim some off the hose.
Tasty when fried I'd imagine... of course Indiana Jones had monkey brains in one movie and I think those where served chilled.
"Mom, I let my wander, and it hasn't come back yet."--Calvin and Hobbes Jaunty, that hose segment is to protect the current hose from getting cut or from flying anything. Babe ended up with a hole in her upper hose from oil getting sprayed on the underside of it, so when I put on the new hose, I cut one end of the old hose, slipped it on and zippy tied it in place to keep that from happening again, just as the lower rad hose sits against the steering gear and frame rail, so I did the same with it.
