I think it's hilarious that Leno worked on and drove these as a teen, so he remembers just how 'floaty' and hard to steer, stop and generally keep going in a straight line they were.
I wonder if I could convince the president of ICON to 'Derelict' Babe, with the Cougar front end, SEFI, 4-wheel discs, 5- or 6-on-the-floor, yadda yadda.
I'm sure he would if you plunk down at least $250 grand cash on his desk (just to start). Those hanging down tailhook-like flex brake hoses must have been installed by another California resident..Mr. M. Mouse.
I for one enjoy the Derelict cars that Icon makes. I LOVE the concept of taking modern power, handling and safety and wrapping it in a classic package. I'm not a big Rolls fan, but I like what they did with this one. The patina craze is fine with me. I can appreciate a beautiful paint job, bit also enjoy stuff that hasn't been changed.
Here's a cult film starring a Rolls of that era: A cult song, from that very film, for any Ry Cooder fans here. It's remastered in HD. Therefore, break out your headphones, for this one:
I thought you meant "blah, blah, blah" because that's what Icon hombre' kept saying. Buuuut I see what ya mean.
