    I know its original, but I never could stand that engine, only 6 cam lobes, opens the intake, closes it, then opens the exhaust. No valve overlap possible, plus they had cam drive shaft issues. If I was going to drive it I would put a 4.0 I6 in it, or if I wanted to make it look somewhat original a Pontiac OHC6.

    I do like it otherwise.

    I know nothing about the engine in these and it's flaws but, it's about as original as you will find today.


    I would loose the pink shrub roof top camouflage though :biglaugh:

    There was a member on Fullsizebronco who did a righteous resto on one, then turned around and immediately sold it.

    Looks more like an armored car, than an ambulance. I wonder if the potential bank robbers intended also drove Jeeps

    All military ambulances look like they could be armored, but I assure you, "soft-skinned" describes these rigs to a T.
