Nothing says we couldn't turn back the clock. Perfect color combo. 1970 was still a high horsepower year.
Is it snowing there, already, or is that an older image?
If it's all there, the compression's up and the rust honest, I'd say the price is fair

Almost looks like the '69 Mark III in Casino (1995)

I would guess older image. The northeast has had a cold snap the last few days, but as of today (November 12), the ad says the listing has been up for 17 days, and that would predate the cold weather.

I do like this comment in the ad:

Oh man, I would be so over this thing. Great color combo. I'm almost positive these Connie coupes have the same roof stamping as my 69 Merc Monterey coupe. Take the side view pic and cover up the rear quarter where the Connie script is at, and then do the same with the front. Looks a helluva lot like a 69-70 Mercury Marquis/Monterey coupe.

Not a complete match on colors but what this one might have looked liked ( and might still).

I'll take the red one please. I've got a thing for that 70 only grill ensemble. The 72 is super nice, but that red 70 is like a blank canvas to me. Oh man I really like those.....
