Just found this forum and happy to see all the others who share my passion for wagons. I have attached some photos of my wagon. It still has the stock 322" Nailhead motor, but have adapted a 700r4 OD trans, a ford rear end, and Power Disc Brakes. I hope to discover a lot of info from this board.
That's a rolling piece of artwork! Thanks for the pics. Glad you came by. How'd you get your hands on it? How long did the resto take?
, drop dead Stunning Buick!! You've had some nice rides over the years. I had a 67 Bug (Baja), we still have a white 85 Mustang rag, and our 65 910. Your 65 Chev truck, hard to tell but looks like a C20..?
cool ride The SoCal community gets a little bigger...With one of the finest looking Buick's I've seen in a long time.
thats friggin beautiful...as a Ford guy...its hard to admit?! always liked those and the Olds to the toolbox
The Over The Hill Gang is a BIG club in the Inland Empire area of Southern California, and they've got some mighty fine vehicles. I've seen 'em at the Route 66 show every summer. Gonna miss it this year, though.
Answer some questions I actually bought the car off of ebay, from a guy in Long Beach, CA. It has taken about three years to get it to its current state. Its not yet finished, I will redo the interior next and install Air Conditioning for our hot summer months. But I guess their never really finished. My 65 Chevy Truck is a C20 3/4 ton. I just finished upgrading the brake system to front disc and the power steering to real power instead of ram assisted. My new Vintage Air system just arrived and will be installed next week. The truck is my daily driver. I have been a charter member of the Over the Hill Gang Berdoo car club since July 1973. I have had many types of cars over the years. If you click on my web site in my signature you will see many of them as well as some of my friends. Thanks for all the nice comments. Jack
