Who invented that stupid phrase "unmolested"? Is that supposed to mean he keeps his gas cap locked?
He can try getting that much money, if he wants to hang onto it for a while. He should be lucky to get only a quarter of what he's asking.

    Okay. That's all, then:

If that's the actual mileage and a closer look shows it's decent, I'd say the only worry is finding the missing right front trim pieces. Around here that would be a needle in a large hay stack.
It's way too hot over-up there and I'm afraid of forest fires.

I often molest my cars. It makes them happy and they break down less.
I'd molest the wood trim with some good prewax cleaner then try mild rubbing compound and wax.
It reminds me of my all red '72 Grand Torino wagon.

My guess would be that it's a garage door handle built into that tailgate, because he couldn't get the original mechanism to function. Or, maybe he thought two locks on the tailgate are better than one.

An outboard window crank? What'll they think of next?

I can't remember if my '72 had that outside crank handle or not. I'd bet it did.
I hadn't noticed the tailgate rust. Good thing I didn't go look at it, I'd surely find more rust Shirly.

I'm not Shirly, Sir. The name is Ivy. Poison Ivy.
If you didn't notice the tailgate rust, it's only because you were afraid to look at the car. That rust stands out like a sore thumb.

    Bond, James Bond Shirly!
I only glanced at the tailgate. Must have been dreaming about my '72 Gran Torino and thinking how I'd like to own another similar.

Stop getting rid of all of your cars, then.

How was I too know we'd have kids and they'd grow taller? Camping in tents evolved to camping in RV's. As they got larger and the kids got larger I needed bigger vehicles.
Now all the kids flew the coup and we sold our last RV's.
After driving pick up trucks off and on for years I'm finally back to a mid sized sedan. A 4-door of all things!
I probably should buy an ambulance or a hearse next.

You know which vehicle comes after the hearse, Sir. It's the one without wheels.
