Geez Rev. I never knew you actually worked on 'em. I just thought you bought them and looked at them in the yard.
Back in the day the grill was called the Horse Collar grill.....I always liked the look of a 58 Edsel grill... The 59 grill and front fenders were a flop to me...
My dad bought a new 1958 Ranchwagon. The Edsel version was a couple hundred more. He said he just couldn't see himself going around with a BIG-O kisser!
umm rev....how many owners has the edsel had?.....your licking it? ya might wanna get a tetnis shot...ya know ..in case of VTD's (vehicularly transmitted disease)
Thanks for the update REV, my most favorite wagon of all time! Just the name "Bermuda" is cool not to mention the crazy tail lights, beautiful wood, cool colors, chrome for miles! THAT is a keeper! Clark
well, i want that copper LTD. my aunt gave her silver one to someone whos not even family.. she claims i said i didnt want it. what i told her was i couldnt afford to buy it. so she gave it to someone else free....
Well i gotta make her drivable...otherwise...ya..i hate working on them Just yesterday...i found out the whole history of the car...so..4..not counting me..so she's almost a virgin again seeing she hasnt seen the light of day for about 5 years now... True...i feel the same You can have mine!!....but..same thing....Only if you have money and so the update is...I left it running in the driveway for 2.5 hours...just to see if it was going to blow a frost plug or something.....and it split the rad!!!...so now that!
"oh that wagon!" That wagon gave me chills..licked or not...I guess. Really like the looks of it. Never seen one like it. What's the little yellow one out near the street? I like that, too.
and so the update is...I left it running in the driveway for 2.5 hours...just to see if it was going to blow a frost plug or something.....and it split the rad!!!...so now that![/QUOTE] My answer to seeing if things are gonna break is drive it with a thermometer (whatever u want to call it) installed so u can see the temp in cockpit while driving. If it overheats stop, have AAA ready! That way you dont overheat it too much. Killer wagon by the way.
