I need a posi for my 81 Malibu. What years of Camaro, S10's will interchange?

You probably mean to ask what the latest model of these will interchange. Anything older to 1955 shouldn't be a problem.

Are you looking for the entire rear end assembly or just the differential? I believe all A and G Bodies used the same 7-1/2" rear end except the GN, T-Type, and 442 which got the 8-1/2". I would think any Cutlass, Monte Carlo, Regal, Grand Prix would swap right in. I think the Monte Carlo SS had the 7-5/8" which isn't much better than the 7-1/2". Obviously if you could upgrade to the 8-1/2" that would be ideal.

Here is some more info if you are looking to swap the entire rear end.
