    It looks like a Plymouth Acclaim, but why it is mounted on what appears to be a rotisserie of sorts I cannot say.

    That is what I thought it might be, but I couldn't figure out what purpose it would serve. Also might be low tech. Maybe you need a couple of guys on either side of the car to rock it back and forth every once in a while?

    seatbelt safety simulator for state police. strap in, car flips with occupants strapped in.

    Before seeing that video above, I was thinking it might be an underwater extracation training rig. You sink the whole rig down off of a boat ramp, roll the body over, then have your divers practice pulling out the dummies.
