1975 Buick Century Free Spirit Indy 500 Pace Car E-bay (Near Flint MI)

This one is rough, but I have only seen a couple of these in person. But I question the viability of restoring this one, probably a parts doner for a better example. Even though the seller claims to have many extra parts.

That actually doesn't look too bad depending on how much rust the old paint is hiding. Sounds like he has quite a few interior parts too.You'd probably be upside down on any of these if you put a ton of money into them so this would definitely be a car you would want to keep and enjoy.

 

Right. I think the toughest part would be reproducing the decaling.

Yeah, if it isn't a rustbucket it looks like a pretty easy resto if you don't get carried away.
I personally can't stand cars with 5 mph bumpers/locomotive cow catchers. I don't like the huge bumpers on my car but at least they don't stick out like a huge chrome plated sore thumb.

 

Well, if it isn't original enough to not modify it, just tuck the bumpers. It would look tons better.
