Spotted these two for sale down here, I've never seen these models on the roads down here before. I like the style of the 1962 Chrysler: (i) 1962 Chrysler New Yorker wagon Mopar Custom Hot Rod http://cars.ebay.com.au/1962-Chrysler-New-Yorker-wagon-Mopar-Custom-Hot-Rod_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ270406698110 (ii) 1961 Dodge Seneca Wagon. http://cars.ebay.com.au/1961-Dodge-Seneca-Wagon-Pheonix-Dart-Pioneer_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ270406157349
You too would be more than welcome!. It's not really that bad down here. It's just a long way from anywhere
I wonder how it came about that steering wheels & which side of the road you drive on are different in some parts of the world? Perhaps for you it is was a rebellion against the English, and we the late (convict)colonies of the English had no choice:confused:
You have to wonder if England handled the Horse and Buggy days the same way. Never met a horse who cared about passing lanes. So how come France shipped its bad boys to Canada and we drive on the correct side?
That 62 Chrysler is ALSO one of my favorite body styles of all time. I love the color of the exterior but I can't figure out why they put a RED interior in a yellow car!?!? GMW...how much is that car in USD?
From what I remember from History class was, nobility always road their (horse drawn)wagons on the left side of the road and the common folk road on the right side of the road. In France, around the time of the French Revolution, nobility tried to blend in with the common folk, so they started riding on the right side. After the French Revolution, everyone in France rode on the right side of the road and this practice spread to many countries.
